Authentics Halberd is hand-crafted with a blackened head. The head is secured with hand pounded rivets on a rectangular, shaved, blackened, and seared wood handle. This halberd has a rectangular pole for authenticity. Rectangular handles afforded a better directional grip than round poles. This style has a sharp blade to one side with a downward curved spike to the other, and a spear on top. It measures over 6.5 feet high, varying slightly due to each being individually made. Largest width across measuring 12 to 13 inches wide. At the top of each halberd is a spear measuring over 1 foot long.
