Rattan Wrapped Yari

At the base of the deferentially tempered blade, there are a couple of concave curves on the sides. The blade has a long tang that extends into the haft. This helps to absorb blows. The haft has a black lacquer finish. Next to the blade, rattan wraps around the haft for a better grip and a stunning look. You can wield this yari at a historical reenactment.
