Description

In 1869 a sword was found in Westminster Abbey at the tomb of King Henry V, and it was thought to be part of his funeral armor. This Sword of Henry V is a stunning model of that sword, which has since been placed at his burial site. Forged from 1566 high-carbon spring steel, this blade features an antique finish for a historic look. The swept down quillons on the guard add a unique touch, while a cross on the wheel pommel adds authentic appeal as well. The hilt is crafted from leather wrapped hardwood and is ideal for one handed thrusting. Though the original Henry V sword is on display, this model is intended for reenactment and stage combat, and it even comes with a scabbard for carrying. This Sword of Henry V offers a historically accurate portrayal of a famous sword that any reenactor would love.
