Based on an original German side sword, this fully functional weapon features a thin, double-edged blade. Made from 5160 steel, the blade has a fuller down a third to half its length. Next, the sword has a swept style handguard on the hilt. This swept hilt helps the swords cutting and thrusting performance. Also, the hilt features a black leather grip and a scent stopper-style pommel. In addition, the sword comes with a black scabbard which is also leather. The Renaissance Side Sword is great for historical reenactments as well as sword collections.
