Medieval Craftsmanship

Crafted from EVA foam, this medieval LARP weapon is inspired by the warpicks throughout late medieval history. Historically, heavily armoured infantry needed weapons that could pierce enemy armour, so the pick was created to fill that battlefield role. A fiberglass core rod in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon. This LARP hammer is coated in a layer of latex for longevity.

Starting at the top, the head is designed like late medieval hammers with a long beak at the back. The hammer head in front is excellent for bludgeoning attacks while the beak is great for puncturing strikes in LARP. Like real hammers, the head has four prongs for historical detail. The head has been painted with a forged iron finish.

Further down, the square haft is crafted to resemble natural wood grain. You can wield it with one or both hands. The handle has the appearance of wrapped brown leather, adding natural detail that secures your grip. At the bottom, the handle is rounded to complete the design.

Care Instructions:

• Latex weapons do need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a 100 ml LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) in our LARP Accessories section. We recommend you use the silicone on a regular basis. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and increases the lifetime of the weapon. It also prevents the coating from drying out, and improves resistance to wear and tear.
