Description

During the Renaissance, parrying daggers called main gauches were popular weapons to have. Check out the French Main Gauche. Made from carbon steel, this functional parrying dagger has a double-edged blade with a rounded tip. The dagger continues with a curved crossguard. It curves towards the blade, creating a U-shape. The crossguard has a ring at the center. Historically, this ring would help protect the wielder from thrusting attacks, allowing them to take control of their enemys rapier more easily. Next, this dagger has a brown leather grip. The brown leather wraps around the grip. Then, the hilt ends with an egg-like, scent stopper-shaped pommel. Finally, this dagger comes with a leather sheath. Embossing adorns the brown sheath, creating a diamond-like pattern on the upper half. It has ties for attaching the sheath to a belt, not included. Add the French Main Gauche to your Renaissance-inspired dagger collection. With its rounded tip, it is great for stage combat as well.

This item is handmade, therefore, it may vary slightly from what is shown above.
