Part of the Athena Premium line from Ateliers Nemesis, this foam watcher sword has a cutting-edge construction for heightened detail, safety, and durability. This foam LARP sword is crafted by hand from skilled artisans. Thermofuming fuses the closed cell foam of the blade together, making this LARP sword safe, tough, and shred-resistant. A fiberglass core in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon, ensuring it keeps its shape after multiple battles. This LARP sword is coated in a layer of varnish for longevity. A unique weighting system then gives this LARP wolf sword a point of balance for natural maneuverability. It’ll feel like you’re wielding a real sword, simply made safe for LARP.

Inspired by iconic swords from medieval fantasy, this medieval foam sword is designed for those answering the call of the realm with unwavering resolve. The double-edged blade has a hexagonal cross-section. The flat medial ridge offers the edges of the blade strength and support. This watcher sword is built for slashing, thrusting, and parrying. You can wield this foam bastard sword with one or both hands. The classic, silvery finish on the blade resembles a polished sword, adding another layer of style to the design. This durable foam blade then surrounds a strong fiberglass core which is in turn reinforced with a high weave polyester similar to Kevlar for heightened safety.

Moving down the length, the curved crossguard ends in round knobs. Each quillon is notched for added detail. The middle of the crossguard, known as the chappe, is carved with a blocky cross-section. Just beneath, the wooden handle is wrapped in leather for a secure, fluid grip. There are two options available to personalize the hilt of this LARP weapon. Choose between the Black grip with a Bronze hilt or a Burgundy grip with a Steel hilt. The first color is the color of the leather wrapping. The second color is for the guard and pommel. The hilt ends in a snarling wolf’s head pommel. A latex-free waterproof coating covers this safe foam weapon.

Care Instructions:

• Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soapy water, then allow to dry. Use a silicone-based coating, like our 100 ml LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) to prevent premature wear. Do not store underneath heavy objects. Avoid excessive heat, cold, or prolonged exposure to the sun.
