Part of the Athena Initium line from Ateliers Nemesis, this foam Viking sword has a cutting-edge construction for heightened detail, safety, and durability. Thermoforming fuses the closed cell foam of the blade together, making this LARP weapon ultra safe and shred-resistant. A fiberglass core in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon. This LARP sword is coated in a layer of latex for longevity. A unique weighting system then gives this Nordic fantasy LARP weapon a point of balance for natural maneuverability. You will feel just like you are wielding the real thing, simply made safe for LARP.

The long, double-edged blade of this LARP Viking sword is designed with a distal taper and a double fuller. All along the blade are minor imperfections, giving it a weathered, battle-damaged finish. This battle-damage makes it look like a survivor of countless raids and battles. This durable foam blade then surrounds a strong fiberglass core which is in turn reinforced with a high weave polyester similar to Kevlar for heightened safety. The short, blackened crossguard curves slightly toward the blade, complete with notches for added detail. Moving down the length, the handle is also crafted with a blackened finish. Borre-style knotwork is engraved on the handle to give you a secure grip. The five lobed pommel is inspired by real Viking swords from medieval history.

Care Instructions:
