Short Elf LARP Axe

A short axe is perfect for cleaving and slicing even at short range. The Short Elf LARP Axe has a highly versatile and easy to maneuver size with just enough elegance in its design to set it apart as the weapon of an elven warrior. Made of shred resistant, strong yet soft closed cell foam, this fantasy LARP axe has a realistic look but is safe for live action roleplay combat. The steel tone axe blade has a long beard that ends in a slight curl, creating a wide cutting edge. This foam blade has a harder foam core reinforcing its structure without sacrificing safety. Its haft has been hand painted and sculpted to look like real light wood grain. Inside, a fiberglass core with a Kevlar tip gives flexible stability to the shape. Protective latex coats the entire foam LARP axe. This medieval fantasy LARP weapon is both unique enough to serve as the weapon of an elf warrior and versatile enough to work for just about any setting.

Care Instructions:

• Latex weapons do need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) that can be purchased separately in the LARP Maintenance & DIY section. We recommend you use the Silicone on a regular basis. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and make the weapons last much longer. The maintenance silicone protects the coating from drying out, and helps the weapon resist wear and tear.

• Store latex weapons flat or on the pommel, never on the tip, and in a cool, dry environment. Use a towel or sheet to protect the LARP weapon from adhering to plastic or rubber surfaces.
