Fight your foes as a might Viking! With the Rus Viking Sword in hand, you can fiercely battle against your enemies with style. Made from 1060 high-carbon steel, this functional Viking sword takes its design from a 9th or 10th century original. This sword has a double-edged blade with a fuller down its length. An etched cross detail adorns one side of the blade at its base, and an etched O adorns the other side, mimicking the original.
The sword continues with a highly detailed brass crossguard. A stylized knotwork pattern adorns the short, straight crossguard. Next, brass wire wraps around the flat wooden grip.
The hilt ends with a tea-cozy brass pommel. This pommel features the two-part construction found on historical Viking swords. Riveting secures the lower part onto the tang. Additional rivets attach the pommel cap to this lower part of the pommel. This pommel features more of the intricate detailing from the guard.
Finally, this Norse sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the scabbard. It has a knotwork chape. In addition, it features an attached belt. Embossed detailing adorns the belt. Take the Rus Viking Sword to your next historical reenactment or battle. It also looks wonderful added to a weapon collection.
