This functional swordstick has a carbon-fiber cane shaft and a 9260 spring-steel blade. The double-edged, rapier-style blade releases from the shaft with a hidden, spring-loaded button. Part of the black cane forms the hilt of the sword.

At the top of the cane is an octopus handle. It forms the pommel of the sword. The octopus has a realistic, highly detailed design. It elongated head forms the grip for the cane.
