Thermoforming fuses the closed cell foam of the blade together, making this LARP weapon ultra safe and shred-resistant. A fiberglass core in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon. This LARP fencing rapier is coated in a layer of latex for longevity. A unique weighting system then gives this LARP weapon a point of balance for natural maneuverability. Inspired by the fencing swords of the Renaissance masters, the double-edged blade has a diamond-shaped cross-section. This blade is excellent for thrusting and piercing attacks. All along the blade are minor imperfections, giving it a weathered, battle-damaged finish. This battle-damage makes it look like a survivor of countless duels and battles. This durable foam blade then surrounds a strong fiberglass core which is in turn reinforced with a high weave polyester similar to Kevlar for heightened safety. The crossguard curls toward the blade in the back. The center chappe has an inlaid faux gemstone. Below, the handle has a counterguard protecting your grip with a twisted accent and a hollow cut-out for added detail. Your one-handed grip is secure with the wire-wrapped handle. At the bottom, the round pommel adds flair to the design and keeps your grip from slipping.
