Please note this scabbard is crafted by hand from natural materials, so its shape and color may vary. Choose between two colors for the Malden Scabbard: Black and Brown. At the top, this Mytholon scabbard has an angled throat that slides over your sword’s crossguard when sheathed. Leather straps looped through belt keepers just underneath the throat form a broad brace with a buckle. Further down, the straps are crossed over the body of the scabbard for detail. When worn, this medieval scabbard is designed to hold your sword at an angle.

There are more straps further down that are designed to buckle around your waist. At the bottom, there is a steel chape designed to bolster the scabbard and ensure the tip of the blade doesn’t poke through. This leather-wrapped scabbard can hold blades up to 35.4 inches or 90 centimeters long, and it can accommodate blade widths up to 2 inches or 5 centimeters wide.

Care Instructions:

• Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.
