When you want to take on your enemies in true Viking style, be sure to wield the Langeid Viking Sword against them in battle. Made from 1060 high-carbon steel, this functional Norse sword takes its design from an 11th-century original found in the Setesdalen Valley of Norway. It features a tempered, double-edged blade with a wide fuller running down its center.
The Viking sword continues with an angled crossguard. It angles towards the blade. The guard features a pair of brass spirals in addition to letters and a circular cross design. According to experts, they were symbols of Christian mysticism along with Latin letters.
Then, the hilt has a wooden grip. Brass wire wraps around the grip. The hilt ends with a Brazil-nut-shaped pommel. It features more brass detailing. Also, it has a two-part construction with the tang anchored into it. Both the guard and pommel are nickel-plated brass.
Finally, this sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the scabbard. It has a wooden loop for sliding the scabbard onto a belt, not included. This sword is ideal for fighting off your enemies at a reenactment. You can also add it to a weaponry collection.
