The bottom portion of the haft has a concave pommel. The bottom concave grip tapers into the top foregrip. The head is riveted to the shoulder at three points, guaranteeing a stronger and more secure thrust.

Moving onto the blade, it’s fully sharpened with three perforated holes near the cutting edge. These holes remove excess weight and add more control. Extending past the haft, the glaive-style blade has a concave choil with a convex point underneath. These act as further safeguards to prevent your grip from slipping onto the blade. This Honshu thrust axe comes with a leather sheath to protect the blade.
