Great Wave Katana

Made from T10 high-carbon steel, this functional samurai sword has a curved blade, typical of Japanese swords. To begin with, the differentially hardened blade has a visible temper line. Also, it starts with an o-kissaki, or long-length tip.

Next, the sword features a brass blade collar before the black tsuba. It has a cutout comma, or tomoe, design. This design is three commas in a spiral.

Then, the hilt continues with a wrapped handle. Black Japanese cotton wraps around the cream ray-skin grip. Finally, this sword comes with a black lacquered scabbard. The scabbard features a black cotton cord wrapping, or sageo, at the top. This Japanese katana is ideal for wielding at a reenactment or sword practice. You can add it to any sword collection.
