As you are a cunning and skilled samurai, you know the value of carrying a proper sword like the Golden Oriole Wakizashi. Made from T10 high-carbon steel, this functional samurai sword has a curved blade, typical of Japanese swords. A fuller runs down the length of the blade. It has a visible temper-line and a great balance.
The cutting sword features a brass blade collar before the black tsuba. It features a cutout design. The design depicts an oriole looking at a preying mantis that is hunting a cricket. The three animals have golden eyes.
The hilt continues with a wrapped handle. Blue Japanese cotton wraps around the cream grip. The 14-inch grip ends with a pommel that features another cricket.
Finally, this sword comes with a blue lacquered scabbard. The scabbard features a black cotton cord wrapping, or sageo, at the top. In addition, this sword comes with a cloth bag and a maintenance kit. This Japanese wakizashi is ideal for wielding at a reenactment or sword practice. You can add it to any sword collection.
