Description

The Godfred Sword is a warriors sword and a tribute to the Norse smiths of legend. Its name comes from a feared 8th century raider. Made from Damascus steel, this functional Viking sword takes its design inspiration from pre-9th century originals. This sword features a double-edged blade with a deep fuller down the center. It has a distal-tapered profile and is well balanced.

The sword continues with a short, curved crossguard. The guard curves toward the blade. Then, the hilt has a wrapped grip. Brown suede covers the grip. It has a woven design with brass rivets along the ends. The hilt ends with a lobed pommel. Both the pommel and guard are Damascus steel.

Finally, this Norse sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown suede covers the scabbard. It has an antiqued brass chape, throat, and two accent rings. One of these accents has an attached belt hanger. All of the brass accents have a studded cross design. Take this sword to your next historical reenactment or battle. It makes a great companion weapon for any Viking.
