Etched Knotwork Viking Axe

Warrior do not forget to take a weapon with you into battle. With the Etched Knotwork Viking Axe in hand, you will become victorious. This functional Viking axe has a high carbon steel axe head and a hardwood haft. The thick haft features a brown, leather-wrapped grip. Further up on the haft, there are crisscrossed straps of leather. Rivets secure the leather into place.

Meanwhile, the axe head has a single socket. The socket gets taller towards the blade. A steel wedge secures the hardwood haft into the socket. The axe head has a bearded blade. The blade has a steep concave curve on the bottom and a gently curved top. It extends upwards slightly at the top past the socket. An engraved, complex knotwork design adorns the bearded blade. The knotwork has a figure-eight shape. Near the bottom, there is a triskelion. The Etched Knotwork Viking Axe is wonderful for reenactments. It looks great being wielded by a Viking or added to a collection.
