This Black Single Hand and Basket Hilt Sword Blade works with the Xtreme Synthetic Sparring Swords, sold separately. As an interchangeable blade, it can be mixed and matched with other offered parts to create a custom training sword that suits your preferences.
This blade is crafted from a special-purpose, high-impact polymer that is designed to provide a strong yet flexible blade that is ideally suited for the rigors of sparring and practice combat. The blade is designed to flex in the last one-third of its length towards the tip. This allows for safer thrusting than with conventional wooden training weapons.
The blade-to-tang connection is reinforced by a high-tensile steel rod that runs along the tangs full length. This construction removes the handle flex typically seen in plastic training swords.
This blade measures approximately 39.5 inches in overall length. The blade takes up 34 inches of that with the rest being tang. The end of the tang features a threaded steel extension for attaching a pommel, sold separately.
This Black Single Hand and Basket Hilt Sword Blade can be used to switch out the blades of any of the Xtreme Sparring Swords, allowing one sword to become many, so that you can vary your training routine and your style as often as you wish.
