Description

If you want to head into battle as a mighty Highlander warrior, then you should be wielding a weapon like the Basket-Hilt Broadsword. Made from 1566 high-carbon steel, this functional Scottish broadsword has a long, double-edged blade.

Replicated from a 18th century original in England, a fuller runs down most of the length of the blade. The name Andrea Ferara adorns the fuller near the hilt. This was the name of the maker of the original sword.

Then, the handle has a basket hilt design. The stainless-steel Glasgow-style hilt has a cutout design. They reveal the red interior liner. It consists of fabric-covered leather. Also, wire wraps around the ray-skin-covered grip.

Finally, this Scottish highlander sword comes with a scabbard. Black leather covers the scabbard. It has a steel chape and throat. Bring the Basket-Hilt Broadsword to your next historical reenactment or battle. You can also add it to your sword collection.
