The 10th Century Viking Sword is a great companion weapon to any might Viking warrior or leader. Wield it in battle against your foes. Made from EN45 high-carbon steel, this functional Viking sword takes its inspiration from a 10th century Norwegian original.
This Rus sword has a double-edged blade with a fuller down its length. Etched into the fuller is a stylized figure on one side and crosses with a whorl on the other.
The sword continues with a short, straight brass crossguard. Next, brown leather wraps around the wooden grip. The hilt ends with a tea-cozy brass pommel. Steel wire adorns the pommel.
This pommel features the two-part construction found on historical Viking swords. Riveting secures the lower part onto the tang. Additional rivets attach the pommel cap to this lower part of the pommel. Both the guard and pommel feature a latticework design with steel wire.
Finally, this Norse sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the scabbard. It has a brass chape, throat, and belt loop. Take this sword to your next historical reenactment or battle. It also looks wonderful added to a weapon collection.
