The antique silver-plated crossguard ends in two stylized gryphons. The center of the guard has a menorah detail on one side and the Ark of the Covenant on the other side, both in 24k gold plating. The pommel has a star of David in a round inset, also with 24k gold plating. The remainder of the pommel has delicate engraving in antique silver plating.
