Before the official formation of the SIS, or Secret Intelligence Service, in England in 1909, there were still many defenders in the service of Her Majesty and the crown. The On Her Majestys Service Sword Cane is an example of just the type of clandestine piece which would have been carried by Queen Victorias secret bodyguards. All of the lavish metal adornments on the exterior of this piece have been expertly plated in 24-Karat gold and then antiqued. The strong shaft is stained and highly-polished Indian Rosewood. However, the most magnificent feature is the hidden, stainless steel blade within. The surface of this blade has been lavishly etched with period scrollwork and the pledge, On Her Majestys Service. This collectible swordstick is without a doubt one of the most gorgeous sword canes you will ever come across. The English sword cane features a locking mechanism and has a rubber anti-slip cup on the base. It ships in a presentation box.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the purchaser to check and comply with any and all state, local, and federal laws regarding the owning, carrying, and usage of bladed weapons like this sword cane.
