Based on the designs of blades from the La Tene culture, this La Tene Celtic Dagger echoes the look of an Iron Age culture that would have used iron for the blade only, and instead used more common materials to make up the hilts of their weapons. The combination of bare wood and blade is uniquely appealing, though, as well as distinctive, which makes this dagger an immediate eye-catcher. The steel blade has a gentle curve to its edge, which eventually draws the blade down to a curved point, making this weapon look very much like a dagger made for cutting, but one that can thrust and pierce, too. The wooden hilt also offers a unique detail, and is touched with ornate detailing, in the form of brass studs, which form cross shapes on the narrow guard and on the rounded, lobe pommel. Included with the dagger is a brown leather sheath. The age old design of this La Tene Celtic Dagger does not detract from its appeal, though. In fact, it only adds to it, by making it a dagger whose form is rare and unique, and therefore, that much more interesting to catch sight of and own.
