The CSA small sword has a brass hilt with a D-guard and a grooved grip. The top guard consists of a knuckle guard on the right and a ring guard on the left, facing the wielder.
The blunted saber-like blade has intricately etched Confederate symbols. One can see “CSA” etched above the base, standing for “Confederate States of America.” The CSA etching is surrounded by studded trim. More etched symbols can be seen from the forte to the foible.
