Hand forged from 1045 carbon steel, this elegant sword is fully functional. It features the curved blade typical of Japanese swords. Along the blades spine is a fuller. The groove ends a little bit away from the tsuba. An engraved dragon adorns this section. The full tang blade enters into the handle at a zinc tsuba. A samurai in battle decorates one side of the tsuba while the other features a great wave. The sword continues with the traditionally wrapped black handle. The handle is double-pegged. Finally, this sword comes with a wood scabbard. The Dragon Horimono Katana makes a great addition to a reenactment outfit or collection.
